We are big believers in working with and supporting the local community wherever and whenever we can.
We deliver free courses and awareness programmes within the community, as well as having lots of free resources, and online courses on our web-site.
We also volunteer our time and expertise to help and support other local businesses. Whilst actively supporting local charities. We do not mind rolling our sleeves up!
We are very conscious of our environmental footprint and ethical practices, to this end we have swapped over to a full Eco canteen. The majority of containers are now glass and are returned to the supplier for recycling. Our cardboard containers have already been produced from recycled products, which will continue to be recycled. All products have been sourced locally from local suppliers reducing our carbon footprint.
Nominated Charities
It is so very hard to choose which nominated charities we are going to support, not forgetting all the local charities we are involved with.
After great deliberation we have chosen two charities which are very close to our hearts.

Mind
Firstly are Mind who provide advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem. They campaign to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding.Every year, one in four of us will experience a mental health problem. But hundreds of thousands of people are still struggling. Mind will listen and offer support and advice.
Borrodaile Trust
Our second charity is the Borrodaile Trust. Borrodaile is a retirement village near Marondera in Zimbabwe.Being a Welfare Organisation, the Trust has relied traditionally on donations to bridge the gap between revenue and expenditure. Donations have dwindled dramatically of late, due to the economic situation that is prevailing.
Their survival is based predominately on the good nature of locals, charitable concerns and other small contributors. They receive very little government funding, no NHS support and no sponsorship from large companies.
